An unknown wreck in 140 feet of water, discovered and dived in 1997. From the sanded-in remains, it appears that it was a wooden barge due to the construction and large iron towing ring attached to the bow. Also of note is the presence of a large spool and boiler, indicating that this may have been employed at laying cable. Dived in the Spring, the old and deteriorating wreck was enveloped by large tautog, averaging 10 pounds, with many subjects well over 15 pounds. Scallops were also abundant on the clean, sandy bottom.
